Concentric’s Philadelphia metropolitan area team is seeking a Full-Time Fixed Income Trader who is meticulous, thrives in a fast-paced team environment, and is an independent multi-tasker. This individual will primarily focus on day-to-day fixed income trading and portfolio management within the investment-grade bond markets (e.g., municipal bonds) for the firm’s SMA platform and offer secondary equity trading support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
2-4 years of relevant work experience
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, Advisors, and counterparties
Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

Business degree
Experience working on a trading desk
Familiarity with industry-standard platforms, specifically Bloomberg
Knowledge of equity and fixed income markets, key instruments, investment strategies, and risk measures
Equity order management and/or fixed income portfolio management software proficiency
INDATA and/or Advent knowledge

Responsibilities

Fixed income trading (i.e., building broker relationships and evaluating relative value in fixed income)
Managing fixed income portfolios consistent with investment policies and team-level overlay strategic positioning
Back-up equity trading and operational support
Actively participating in team meetings to discuss investment strategy and market commentary
Best execution review and analysis
Portfolio reporting
