Our 10‑week Fixed Income Summer Internship offers a dynamic immersion into the front office trading environment at Liquidnet. Interns gain hands‑on exposure to the processes, relationships, and market activity that drive our fixed income execution business. You'll be embedded directly within the Fixed Income Sales & Trading team, working alongside professionals who connect institutional clients to liquidity across bonds and credit products. This structure provides both real‑time market learning and opportunities to collaborate across the broader organization. Program dates: Tuesday, June 2 - Friday, August 7, 2026 As our Fixed Income Sales & Trading intern, your summer will be shaped by real exposure to the trading floor. You'll spend your days shadowing coverage teams, supporting client interactions, and monitoring fixed income market activity. You'll gain perspective on how Fixed Income professionals build relationships, manage client flow, and deliver execution outcomes in fast‑moving credit markets. We aim to create a summer experience that's both professionally enriching and genuinely fun. Beyond your team, interns participate in structured programming designed to broaden your skills and network, including: Learning & Development Workshops Volunteer and Community Engagement Events Social and Networking Activities Each intern is matched with a dedicated mentor to support their development throughout the program. Mentors provide career advice, help navigate the firm, and serve as sounding boards for questions and ideas.

Requirements

Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and pursuing a bachelor's degree.
Have an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
Be authorized to work in the United States (we do not offer visa sponsorship).
Relocate at own cost if applicable; Liquidnet does not provide relocation or housing assistance.

Responsibilities

Shadowing Fixed Income coverage during live trading sessions.
Monitoring real‑time activity in the Liquidnet system to understand bond and credit flows.
Assisting with client requests and onboarding in collaboration with product support and legal teams.
Supporting the Sales team with client performance analysis and reporting.
Learning how Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) informs fixed income execution strategies.
Contributing to desk‑specific projects that improve client engagement and trading efficiency.
Conducting ad hoc analyses to investigate trading or operational issues.
