Fitness Services Representative - Bett YMCA
About The Position
We are seeking fitness mined individuals to provide outstanding customer service to YMCA members and guests while creating a welcoming fitness center environment. The YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley is a 4-star rated Charity Navigator employer for over 16 years. We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility and adheres to our mission. This position is expected to be able to successfully perform all physical activities necessary to perform essential and related functions of the job including, ability to frequently lift a minimum of 45 pounds efficiently and safely. CPR/AED/First Aid certifications are required, training available at the Y if not currently certified.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience required
- Ability to pass background check
- CPR/AED/First Aid (or obtain within 30 days; training provided)
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist members and guests
- Demonstrate equipment use
- EGym orientations
- Monitor facility access and enforce policies
- Show members how to use fitness equipment
- Support personal training sales
- Maintain clean and organized fitness areas
