About The Position

As Fitness Manager, you will be an essential part of our Team. This position is responsible for managing the personal training department & for introducing members to our fitness services. The Fitness Manager ensures that the gym delivers an exceptional fitness experience to all members & clients. At YouFit we believe showing up is what we do. Requirements

• Current CPT
• Personal training sales experience
• 2+ years of management experience
• Superior communication & interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong knowledge in all aspects of fitness
• Proven track record of individual success
• Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment
• Has a passion for fitness and helping others
• Possesses a positive attitude
• Customer service-oriented
• Punctual, reliable, and organized

Responsibilities

• Recruitment of personal trainers to ensure optimal staffing levels
• Supervise, guide & develop the personal training staff
• Create & manage action plans to reach overall goals
• Conduct & participate in management meetings
• Ensure monthly personal training revenue targets are met
• Conduct fitness assessments & introductory programs with members
• Maintain all sales percentages & KPI expectations
• Consistently achieve sales & revenue targets
• Work closely with the General Manager to maintain member relationships and cultivate referrals
• Create additional traffic and generate sales
• Maintain the personal trainer staff schedule according to YouFit Gyms standards and the gyms needs
• Create and maintain an enjoyable environment for all employees, members, and guests
• Personally contact all new members to welcome them to the gym & ensure they schedule/attend their fitness assessment
• Maintain excellent customer service with members & clients to keep them engaged with their fitness program
• Provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues to provide a positive member experience
