About The Position

Stretch Zone Miami Beach (studios in North Beach and South Beach) is looking for a part-time Fitness Associate to join our team on weekdays or a combination of weekdays and weekends. New hires must take an online PAID stretch certification course and pass before attending a mandatory PAID on-site course in the Fort Lauderdale corporate office (lasting two days either Monday and Tuesday OR Thursday and Friday from 8 am - 5 pm daily.) Stretch Zone provides clients Flex-ability for Life® by using a proprietary stretching method and a patented stabilization system. Stretch Zone seeks to improve client health and wellness. Stretch Zone facilities offer a welcoming environment, knowledgeable staff, and comfortable equipment, all of which allow clients to relax and fully benefit from our methods. Stretch Zone uses a patented strap system and proprietary tables to stabilize muscles, our certified stretch practitioners deliver a life-changing stretch experience. As a minimum prerequisite to SZM we recommend a personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF and/or a license in therapeutic massage or other accredited body work.

Requirements

Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles (a requirement)
A can-do attitude
High level of attention to detail and organization
Clear communication skills and a genuine interest in helping others
Openness to learning and growing in a new skill set
Drive to succeed and close new sales to earn commissions and bonuses
Reliable, private transportation

Nice To Haves

A background in body mechanics, anatomy, or movement is highly desirable (dance, yoga, personal training, etc.)
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (desirable)

Responsibilities

Educate members on the benefits of the Stretch Zone method by mastering our practitioner-assisted stretching techniques
Meet performance and sales targets
Conduct outbound and inbound calls to book first-time visits
Attend high-energy off-site events to promote services and drive new leads
Create a welcoming experience by scheduling sessions and assisting with questions or concerns
Strengthen long-term member relationships through consistent follow-ups and thoughtful engagement
Participate in fun in-studio challenges to foster team collaboration and support member retention
Provide excellent customer service and uphold a positive culture
Keep clients on schedule with their programs
Help the team clean and maintain the store
Partner with the management team and front desk staff to provide outstanding service and a comfortable atmosphere for all clients
