Requirements
- Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test
- Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by our licensure
Responsibilities
- Perform fitness center opening and/or closing procedures during, before, and/or after business hours.
- Instruct land-based and aquatic classes on a weekly basis.
- Instruct Arthritis Foundation Aquatic (AFAP) classes weekly, after obtaining AFAP certification.
- Keep accurate records as mandated by the Fitness Program Coordinator. Record FC usage and all class attendance.
- Assist in general maintenance of the fitness center which includes cleaning up after classes, end of day clean-up, cleaning gym machines, dusting, sweeping, putting away all equipment, locking all cabinets, and other clean up as needed.
- Manage resident systems, which includes daily resident sign-in, member tracking, ensuring that each resident has a current health screening and physician release form on file; and resident/family/associate records are maintained in properly secured storage.
