About The Position

Responsible for administrative assistance in all programmatic areas for Older Adult Center (OAC) participants.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform light physical tasks during shifts
• CPR/AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations and to handle complex situations with sensitivity and professionalism
• Proficiency in using computer software and databases to maintain client records and generate reports

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in fitness, wellness, customer service or front desk roles

Responsibilities

• Promote and support fitness classes, meal programs and special events as needed
• Responsible for all collection of attendance sheets and processing of CLLD suggested contribution
• Assist with promoting and implementation of all department programs (including education and art programs)
• Make flyers for upcoming programs
• Data entry into DFTA computer software program (Vive).
• Responsible for compliance to DFTA standards, including unit mandates.
• Updating client profiles as needed.
• All other projects assigned by Supervisor.
