Employee is responsible for overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities of the Yakama Nation Fisheries Program for contracts, grants and agreements with but not limited to the following: the United States Department of the Interior; Bureau of Indian Affairs; DOE Bonneville Power Administration; Bureau of Reclamation; National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration; Fisheries, Natural Resources Conservation Service; Army Corp of Engineers; United States Fish and Wildlife Service; US Environmental Protection Agency; Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission; Washington State Department of Ecology, Department of Transportation, Recreation and Conservation Office; The Nature Conservancy; Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission; Columbia River Public Utility Districts of Lewis, Grant, Chelan and Douglas Counties as well as tribal allocation and private funding. Provide direction for program and project specific finances, including development of a sound financial strategy, metrics that tie into the program's overall strategy, internal controls, leadership and systems designed to preserve the program's assets. Plan, direct, coordinate and maintain the integrated financial and risk management functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) issued by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and Yakama Nation's Financial and Personnel Policies, Code of Federal Regulations.
