About The Position

Working with Draper, create and alter garments for 3 Productions during the Wolf Trap Opera summer season. Assist Draper in providing direction and support to stitchers as appropriate.

Requirements

Strong working knowledge of Costume History and Construction.
Ability to create patterns from renderings for all types of costumes with little supervision.
Minimum of three years working in a professional or educational environment.
Experience with period garments of all genders.
Opera and/or Theatre experience.
Sensitivity and commitment to the mission of Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.
