About The Position

The Parts Finisher ABC is responsible for cleaning metal parts using specialized equipment and solutions to support production and recycling efforts. This role ensures safe, efficient handling of parts, solution maintenance, and work area cleanliness while contributing to overall production flow.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 months of related experience or training.
  • Must pass appropriate testing to advance in the ABC program.
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching overhead.
  • May lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation.
  • Cleaning equipment, materials handling, and basic production processes.
  • Proper handling of cleaning solutions and workplace safety practices.
  • Basic English reading and comprehension.
  • Time and task management.
  • Attention to detail in part handling and cleaning.
  • Communication with team members and supervisors.
  • Operation of cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Maintain steadiness and control while handling objects.
  • Adjust to changing part volumes and machine demands.
  • Recognize when procedures or equipment are not functioning properly.
  • Follow safety standards and recognize environmental risks.
  • Coordinate hand-eye tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Operate centrifuges and the Durr Echo Cleaning System to clean and dry parts.
  • Monitor cleaning solution levels and maintain correct mixture consistency.
  • Accurately count parts for inventory and quality tracking.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, machinery, and floors.
  • Handle metal parts safely and efficiently using appropriate PPE.
  • Uphold Positronic’s standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.
  • Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.
  • Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
