About The Position

First-Line Manufacturing Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support 3 rd Shift 737 Final Assembly in Renton, Washington. Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate our values-based culture, optimize tools and key performance indicators. Manufacturing Operations embraces a safety and first pass quality culture requiring leaders at every level to be committed to our team members’ success. FOD-free product and clean as you go is vital to maintaining compliance, this also requires a steadfast commitment to our standards, our people and our customer. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
• 2+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
• Proficient using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must be willing to work any shifts

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
• 1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
• Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles

Responsibilities

• Manages IAM represented employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
• Acquires resources, provides technical management, leads process improvements and problem solving activities
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Manages, develops and motivates employees
