About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a First-Line Flightline Manufacturing Operations Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Berkley, MO. The F-15 Program has an exciting opportunity to join the F-15 Manufacturing & Safety team on the flight ramp and ensure that our air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery. This role interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance. As a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop the Manufacturing & Safety team for the F-15. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the BPS principles, standards, production health, and problem-solving models. Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience in Manufacturing Operations and/or flight ramp operations
  • 1 or more years of experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements.
  • 5 or more years of experience working with or supporting military/commercial aircraft.
  • 5 or more years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

  • Experience with F-15 platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.
  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
