About The Position
Texas Trades, LLC is seeking a reliable Fire Watch to support our welding team on an active job site in Plano. This role is critical for maintaining a safe work environment and preventing fire hazards during welding operations. Drug and background screening required
Requirements
- Previous fire watch or construction site experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay alert for long periods
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to communicate clearly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Commitment to following all Texas Trades, LLC safety practices
Responsibilities
- Monitor welding areas and surrounding workspaces for sparks, flames, or heat hazards
- Ensure no combustible materials are present in unsafe proximity
- Maintain communication with welders and supervisors
- Immediately respond to and report any unsafe conditions
- Follow all safety protocols and site procedures
- Assist with basic job site tasks as directed
