About The Position

Responsible for providing estimating, project management and customer service for new and existing clients in the Baltimore-Washington DC metroplex. Promote, estimate, and sell fire protection sprinkler systems, repairs, and upgrades to existing and new clients.

Requirements

  • 3+ years Fire Sprinkler Estimating/Sales or equivalent experience. Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14, and 20 standards and local codes.
  • Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.
  • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings.
  • Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
  • Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors, and end users.
  • Estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to large projects ranging from $100k-$1M+.
  • Manage projects as needed (i.e., change orders, field issues) and attend job walks and construction meetings as needed.
  • Ability to build new business associations / relationships and grow the Fire Protection Business
