Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will use clear communication and strong customer service while supporting site staff, monitoring assigned areas, and documenting observations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, and you will thrive in a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and driven by integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting and escalating concerns through established notification protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing location, including production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Monitor access control points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery driver check-in and/or routing in accordance with site procedures, including verifying authorization and maintaining required logs.
  • Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate noteworthy conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
