About The Position
At 1-800 Packouts Midwest, we specialize in helping families and businesses recover after disasters such as fire, water, smoke, or mold damage. Our Pack Out Department plays a vital role in restoring peace of mind by carefully handling and cleaning personal property. Position Overview: We’re hiring a Contents Specialist to join our Pack Out team. This role offers a dynamic mix of fieldwork and facility-based tasks. You’ll spend part of your time packing and transporting items from homes and businesses, and the other part cleaning and preparing those items for return. No experience needed - willing to train!

Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to job sites to pack boxes and prepare contents for transport.
- Clean and restore personal property at our facility (e.g., furniture, dishes, electronics).
- Use contents tracking software to log items, upload photos, and meet insurance requirements.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with property owners.
