A Day in This Role Your shift begins at 6:00 am. You’ll set up and move pipe into welding equipment, run MIG and plasma processes to attach outlets, and perform any specified rewelds with a handheld gun. You’ll apply a certification stamp with metal stamp and hammer, guide pipe down the work table, and stage finished pieces onto pipe carts. You’ll push those carts to the loading zone and, when needed, operate a pneumatic bander to bundle pipe for shipment. Throughout, you’ll work within our SOPs, complete required safety and skills training, and support additional fabrication tasks assigned by your lead or manager. You’ll clock out at 2:30 pm knowing your craft helped protect lives. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Requirements

  • 1–2 years in a fast-paced, multitask production environment.
  • Hands-on welding experience preferred and the desire/ability to earn certification.
  • Solid arithmetic with whole numbers and decimals; able to read a tape measure to 1/4" increments.

Responsibilities

  • Manually load and unload pipe from welding machinery.
  • Operate welding and plasma equipment to apply welded outlets to specified pipe.
  • Use a handheld weld gun to complete rewelds as required.
  • Mark each completed weld with a certification stamp using a metal stamp and hammer.
  • Move pipe along the table and offload to pipe carts for transfer.
  • Push carts of finished pipe to the loading area.
  • Use a pneumatic bander to bundle pipe for shipment when needed.
  • Follow all SOPs, company policies, and complete required training—especially safety.
  • Assist with other fabrication duties as assigned by the fabrication lead, fabrication manager, or branch operations manager.
