Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a lawyer to serve as a Fire Litigation and Products Liability Pre-Suit Attorney in our Orlando office. This Attorney can also sit in Tampa or Winter Park. This is an opportunity to learn Products Liability and Fire Litigation skills at the premier Plaintiff firm in the country. Our Pre-Suit Attorney's make mission critical decisions for the firm and play a significant role in our success.
Requirements
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association
- 1+ years of personal injury experience
- Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
- Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
- Guide clients through the case process
- Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
- Complete TD approval for liability issues
- Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
- Manage the release approval process
- Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
- Focus on Fire Injury and Product Liability cases
- Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
- EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements
