This role is responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and service of portable fire extinguishers and emergency/exit lighting systems while helping maintain strong customer relationships and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Required state licenses or willingness to obtain applicable licenses
Ability to pass Government, Federal, and Customs background checks
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proven commitment to excellent customer service
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow within the role

Responsibilities

Perform monthly and annual inspections of portable fire extinguishers in compliance with NFPA 10
Inspect, service, repair, and maintain portable fire extinguishers and emergency/exit lighting systems
Perform inspections and maintenance for established customers and assist with coverage during team member vacations or time off
Accurately document inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions
Provide high-quality customer service and represent Control Systems Inc. in a professional manner
Support team members with technical guidance and field assistance as needed
Assist with promoting and selling fire protection services and products to existing customers
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper care of tools, vehicles, and equipment
