About The Position

The Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and restoring a wide range of customer and client personal belongings using SERVPRO’s specialized cleaning products, equipment, and processes. This role requires attention to detail, care in handling items of varying value and sensitivity, and adherence to SERVPRO’s quality and safety standards. By providing consistent, thorough cleaning services, the Cleaner helps ensure customer satisfaction and supports SERVPRO’s reputation as a leader in cleanup and restoration.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED preferred
Experience in cleaning, restoration, or customer service preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and restore a variety of personal belongings and household contents, including furniture, clothing, electronics, and other items.
Safely use SERVPRO-branded cleaning products and equipment following established procedures.
Inspect items to determine appropriate cleaning methods and document condition before and after cleaning.
Package, label, and track customer contents for cleaning, storage, and return.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including the cleaning facility and equipment.
Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
Communicate with supervisor and team members to ensure efficient workflows.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to after-hours emergency service needs.
Assist with general warehouse organization and cleaning duties as assigned.
Other tasks/duties as required by employer.
