About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician looking to work in the heavy industrial sector, traveling to client sites across the United States. As our company continues to expand, we want you to grow and develop with us! What You'll Do: MAINTENANCE: Service and maintain fire alarm systems and fire suppression panels for Clean Agent Systems, Pre-Action, Deluge, and CO2 (High and Low Pressure) INSPECT: Complete inspections for fire alarm systems and fire suppression panels KEEP TO CODE: Ensure that projects are compliant with local, state, federal, and district codes, regulations, and specifications PUT SAFETY FIRST: Adhere to OSHA, customer, and safety protocols while on site; utilize safety best practices when lifting, moving, or pushing heavy materials and while climbing, balancing, and maneuvering on the job site COMMUNICATE: Provide thorough and timely information to clients; Communicate status of work orders to supervisors and other office staff COLLABORATE: Coordinate with project Foreman and other trades to complete projects and work orders efficiently; Maintain positive working relationships with field and office staff Who We Are: The F.E. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of NFPA standards and state and local building and fire codes
  • Previous Fire Alarm Technician or other electrical experience required
  • Experience utilizing equipment to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems
  • Ability to read and analyze blueprints, schematics, and drawings
  • Intermediate MS Office and excel skills
  • Travel to client sites regularly across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Illinois
  • Learn quickly and use your resources to be successful in your role
  • Ability to read and understand technical information, analyze, think critically, and problem-solve

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Notifier and / or Siemens considered a plus
