Requirements

  • Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university
  • Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment
  • Rising Junior, graduating between December 2027 - May 2028
  • Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August)
  • No relocation or housing stipend for this program
  • This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT

Nice To Haves

  • Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet
  • Skilled in using Windows laptops and adept at learning new software for programming and troubleshooting automation equipment
  • Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
  • Demonstrated leadership potential
  • Strong analytical, writing, presentation and critical thinking skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish a project delivery plan
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule, as well as coordinate needs with the project team, identifying time-sensitive installation needs
  • Manage the procurement of supplies and materials to complete projects
  • Participate in project cost reviews
  • Track labor resources and project progress
  • Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities
  • Complete project-specific close-out documentation
  • Rotate through other departments within the branch office to learn about how our branch organization operates as a whole

Benefits

  • Hourly pay range for this position is $24 per hour for first time Interns or $28 per hour for returning Interns
  • Interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program
