About The Position

As a fire alarm system inspector you will be responsible for the completion of service requests at various locations throughout your given territory. You will be responsible for completing jobs to satisfaction while maintaining a courteous and professional service to all customers. The technician must be dependable, be a self-starter and have a “Can Do” attitude to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Basic skills in computers/tablets are necessary
Must demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills
Must be able to work M-F 8:00 a.m.-5:00p.m. and be flexible, willing to be placed on an “On -Call” rotation for afterhours support when needed
Ability to handle pressure, various tasks assigned, and meet deadlines
Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and use a ladder up to 8-ft

Nice To Haves

NICET Level I or II a plus
Electrical/low voltage certification and/or construction background a plus

Responsibilities

Knowledgeable in the use of basic hand tools to operate mechanical and/or electrical devices
Use email, text, call management software to help perform the job
Following procedures of verifying work completed, ensure all paperwork is completed, and all job requirements are met
Create routes, maps, and communicate job requirements for technicians
Meet service calls in an efficient manner
Identify emergencies and respond quickly to support and assist customers in need
Ability to use geographical maps, Google Maps, and read/understand maps to schedule effectively
Answer and manage incoming calls with customers and office staff
Accurately keeping thorough documentation of service calls
Other duties as needed
