What You’ll Be Doing: Troubleshoot and inspect both basic and complex fire alarm systems with limited or no supervision. Conduct regular inspections in accordance with NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and local regulations. Use our web-based platform, ServiceTrade, to document deficiencies, malfunctions, or violations related to fire alarm systems. Ensure alarm panels, detectors, notification devices, and emergency power systems are all operational. Coordinate with contractors, customers, building maintenance, and office staff to get the job done. Identify code and non-conformance issues and make recommendations for system improvements or upgrades. Show an exceptional work ethic and eye for detail in all tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma is required.
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA Requirements, and Industry Standards for Fire Alarm systems installation
- Experience with a variety of system manufacturing including Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Firelite, etc.
- Valid US Drivers license
