To be the best fire protection company the industry has ever seen. Our continued growth and success have created a need for a Fire Alarm Service Manager for our Parsippany, NJ operation. Our Service Managers are the "go-to" experts for their product line, offering crucial support and guidance to both field technicians and office staff. As our Fire Alarm Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, ensuring high standards of safety and compliance. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing day-to-day operations, resolving technical issues, and driving exceptional service delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience in a service-based business (HVAC, plumbing, facilities, etc.). Fire protection experience is a plus, but not required-we'll teach you everything you need to know
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team while fostering a culture of excellence and safety
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions
  • Outstanding communication skills for building relationships with clients and resolving service issues efficiently
  • Proven project management experience, handling scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and quality control
  • Adaptability in a dynamic industry with evolving technologies and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations-lead a growing team of both office professionals and field technicians, providing hands-on support and clear direction
  • Serve as a knowledge hub, providing expert guidance to navigate complex service calls
  • Collaborate with our Deficiency Sales Team, offering strategic product suggestions to ensure accurate system repair quotes and remediation steps
  • Maintain strong relationships and communicate effectively with customers, taking ownership of resolving service-related issues
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the team while identifying coaching and development opportunities, helping them grow their technical and industry expertise
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive departmental strategy, set operational targets, and improve profitability
  • Conduct onsite visits as needed to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to Encore standards
