Requirements
- Associate or Bachelors degree from an accredited college or CADD technical school with 2 years' work related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with IBC, IC, IMC, NEC and NFPA code standards.
- SprinkCad preferred, AutoCad, or HydroCAD, Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Nice To Haves
- NICET Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare project drawings, specifications and schematics required to support the installation of electronic special systems (fire alarm, security, access control, and other low voltage specialist systems).
- Service customer project needs to specifications.
- Review CADD technician drawings for quality, specifications and code compliancy, technical oversight review and approval.
- Assist with maintaining established customers and developing new business.
- Maintain project drawing files, and associate records, and documentation tracking & maintaining as-built drawings.
- Perform occasional job site surveys in the field.
- Coordinate project needs with sales and other project managers overseeing code compliance and design.
