Finishing Technician (1st & 2nd shift & Part-time)
About The Position
Labelink, a leading custom flexographic label and packaging manufacturer, is seeking a motivated Finishing Operator to join our team. Starting at $18.00 an hour $1.00 an hour shift differential Shift Information: 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 am - 2:30 pm (paid 30-minute break) 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:20 pm – 12:20 am (paid 40-minute break)(Training: Conducted on 1st Shift (6:30 am – 2:30 pm) for 4-6 weeks Part-time: 28 hours per week max. 4-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Basic math skills and ability to read a ruler
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard work instructions
- Regularly able to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
- Visual acuity including close, distance, and color vision, with ability to adjust focus
Responsibilities
- Operate rewinders to convert printed product into finished rolls according to work instructions
- Inspect product continuously to ensure all quality and customer specifications are met
- Package finished product into cartons and prepare pallets for shipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
