Finishing Supervisor 2nd Shift
General Summary:
Supervises and directs employees in finishing.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deal effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Knowledge of PC’s and related software.
• Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to supervise and instruct employees.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience supervising and/or directing employees.

Responsibilities

• Utilize manpower and equipment to maximize productivity while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
• Oversees shipping department.
• Directs work force to process castings in accordance with procedures and work instructions.
• Continuously trains employees in safe work practices.
• Directs employees to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Ensures that all castings are processed, stored and shipped to meet customer requirements. Has the authority to reject any container of finished castings or to stop shipment of any casting.
