About The Position

We are seeking a Finishing Machine Operator 2nd Shift to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control. 2nd shift: 3p-11p, Mon-Fri

Requirements

Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Mechanical aptitude
Good visual acuity and color vision
Ability to walk, stand, bend or reach 12 hours.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work on any shift (day or night/12 hour shifts)
Must be able to adhere to stringent security and safety rules.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
Load and unload equipment and materials
Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant
Log and record readings for equipment and procedures
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment at all times.
Set-up and operate rotary die cutter in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
Mount paper rolls and take away completed product.
Follows quality standards, maintains close tolerances, performs quality checks and enters Quality non-conformances into system.
Maintains operating and malfunction/downtime log and required production documentation
Sets-up and operates other equipment when required
Performs routine maintenance and clean up.
Trains “helpers” and new employees as required.
Assists with examining product when needed
Performs other duties as assigned.
