About The Position

Our employees are actively involved in the design, engineering and manufacture of technologically advanced medical devices that ensure that we meet our customer’s quality specifications for each product we produce. The Finisher performs a variety of finishing and assembly operations to meet customer specifications for medical instruments and implants. These responsibilities include surface finishing, cleaning, passivation, laser etching, painting, deburring, straightening, and assembly tasks. This role is essential to ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role will be located at our facility in Fort Wayne, IN on a 2nd shift schedule.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and blueprints is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • The Finisher may be assigned to one or more of the following areas based on production needs and cross-training: Assembly, Blast, Clean & Passivation, Deburr, Laser Etch, Mass Finish, Paint, Polish, and Straightening.
  • Operate and maintain equipment specific to assigned finishing or assembly processes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, routers, and inspection checklists to perform job tasks accurately.
  • Perform quality checks using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
  • Complete production paperwork accurately and enter data into company systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Crosstrain in various finishing processes to support departmental flexibility and production needs.
  • Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
