About The Position

The Finish Repair Technician is responsible for repairing frames and parts using various tools such as touch-up kits, burn-in tools, hot irons, jitterbug sanders, and aerosol cans. The role involves inspecting parts for quality and accuracy, utilizing a tape measure, and laying out culls. The technician must report any problems or damages immediately to the supervisor and be capable of reading and counting for required paperwork. A working knowledge of the product line and understanding of cabinet construction are essential. After repair, parts must be placed back on the line. The position also requires maintaining a clean work area, following good housekeeping practices, and staying certified in all company job and safety training relevant to the role to satisfy repair requirements.

Requirements

• Prior repair and finishing experience.
• Lifting parts averaging 3 lbs.
• Bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, and turning movements may occur.

Responsibilities

• Repair frames and parts. Using touch-up kits burn in, hot iron, jitterbug sander, aerosol cans, etc.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy. Utilize tape measure. Lay culls out
• Report any problems or damages immediately to supervisor.
• Be able to read and count in order to do required paperwork.
• Have a working knowledge of product line. Understand how cabinets are constructed.
• Put repaired parts back on line.
• Keep area clean. Follow good housekeeping.
• Maintain certification in all company job and safety training required of the position.
• Satisfy repair requirements.
