About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Finish Grade Operator to join our civil construction team in the Vicksburg area. This is not an entry-level role. Candidates must be proficient in fine grading for sitework, roadwork, and pad construction, with the ability to meet tight tolerances and production deadlines. This position will also require periodic travel with the crew to support work at our Gulf Islands project. Only experienced operators who can produce quality work without supervision should apply.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a finish grade operator in civil/site construction
• Ability to read grade stakes, plans, and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict tolerances
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GPS/grade control systems preferred

Responsibilities

• operating motor graders and other heavy equipment to achieve precise finish grades
• reading and interpreting plans and stakes
• working closely with field supervision to maintain quality standards
