About The Position

Primarily responsibility to box the extra cheese from the Separator room.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and delegate assignments to others.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operating fines and salt whey equipment.
  • Responsible for locating leaking vessels and isolating them, replacing membranes and lip seals
  • Record data for fines and salt whey Nano membrane
  • Prepare blocks in the fines room according to the procedure.
  • Put blocks in the press and the vacuum chamber.
  • Bag and seal blocks.
  • Assemble stainless steel boxes
  • Oversees CIP for assigned machinery and silos
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Attend required training and take required quizzes to be proficient in room
  • Responsible for completing all safety activities, plant meetings, near misses, and BBSs
  • Complete all job activities following set safety and operational SOP’s
  • Leave the relieving operator supplied with materials, cardboard boxes, and stainless steel boxes.
  • Utilizes GPS processes, driving zero losses, and upholds the culture of MWC non-negotiables.
  • Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.
  • Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance)
