About The Position

Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Island's only full-service, casual resort, is seeking candidates for the Fine Dining Restaurant Server position. This is a full-time, seasonal role for the Summer 2025 season (April through early November) on Mackinac Island. The position offers competitive pay, including excellent tips, housing, meals, and other perks. The ideal applicant should have previous experience in food and beverage service, possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment. As a Fine Dining Restaurant Server, the individual will play a key role in providing exceptional service to Mission Point Resort guests in food & beverage outlets and banquet events by following established service processes.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Experience in restaurant service is helpful
• Working knowledge of F&B POS Systems
• Working knowledge of Restaurant Service processes and procedures
• 2 years experience and familiarity with fine dining etiquette service standards
• Ability to live and work on Mackinac Island seasonally

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with both Prix Fixe and Ala Carte service styles preferred
