Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Financial Systems Manager to join our team in our Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, or Washington D.C. offices. This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote while working within reasonable commuting distance from any of our offices. The Financial Systems Manager oversees the firm’s financial technology platforms, ensuring the efficient operation and support of financial workflows and strategies. This role supports system functionality, implementation of process improvements and system upgrades. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial systems management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Extensive background in legal financial systems, including Aderant Expert.
  • Experience with SQL and API development
  • Skilled in reporting platforms, specifically SSRS and Power BI
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven leadership experience in a financial setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain financial systems, including Aderant Expert, Chrome River, Intapp Time, Sage and other systems, as assigned.
  • Serve as finance technology lead for various financial technology projects, including software implementations and upgrades, template development and integrations to the financial systems.
  • Works in unison with the finance and IT teams to ensure ongoing system functionality while maintaining a high level of governance and oversight.
  • Proactively identifies and implements system improvements and process enhancements.
  • Determinedly troubleshoots financial system issues.
  • Oversee systems maintenance, upgrades and configuration.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between finance and IT.
  • Liaise with external vendors to resolve system issues.
