About The Position

Under general supervision, the Financial Systems Administrator will support the operation of Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM modules. You will focus on the tactical aspects of the Oracle Cloud applications including ongoing strategy for Cloud usage, license management, and lead both the business and technical release management process. In addition, you will help identify, analyze, and document business requirements for issues, and improvements by interacting with the user departments and key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, Power Query, basic VBA).
  • Proficiency in using JIRA, ServiceNow, or a similar ITSM platform for incident and change management.
  • SQL and/or OTBI/BIP report development experience.
  • 3+ years in an Oracle Cloud Functional/Technical Support or System Analyst role, with direct experience related to ERP configuration and application lifecycle management.
  • Direct experience with the configuration and functionality of multiple Oracle Cloud ERP and/or EPM modules, including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, Fixed Assets (FA), Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (FCCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Account Reconciliation Cloud Services (ARCs).
  • Must be self-driven and motivated: able to work independently
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be organized and able to work on multiple projects concurrently.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle certification in one or more process areas.
  • SQL and/or OTBI/BIP report development experience.
  • Prefer experience in a retail environment.
  • Oracle Cloud implementation experience.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud data conversion/integration methods (FBDI, ADFDI, HDL).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle for Oracle Cloud Release and Ad-Hoc Security/Bugfix Patches including ERP quarterly and EPM monthly releases. Analyze Release Notes and Known Issues documentation for dependencies, regression risk, and feature deprecations across Oracle ERP (Financials) and EPM modules. Lead business teams through release testing. Partner with the Applications Development team to validate patch impact on custom extensions, integrations, and BI Publisher (BIP)/OTBI reports. Articulate all impacts to business stakeholders, secure formal approval, and document based on approved change control guidelines.
  • Design and lead the System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles for all Oracle Cloud releases. Document test evidence and traceability matrix linking test cases to functional processes and technical configurations. Utilize JIRA or a similar test management tool to track defects, manage severity, and drive root cause analysis (RCA) to resolution with technical teams.
  • Provide functional leadership on global projects (e.g., new module deployments, acquisitions, process redesign). Lead requirements gathering for Financials (GL, AP, AR) and EPM (ARCs, NR, FCCS, EDM) configurations, ensuring alignment with global process standards. Drive systemic solutions, including interface specifications for inbound/outbound data flows via FBDI, ADFDI, or web services.
  • Act as the Tier 2 subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Cloud Financials/EPM. Mentor business functional leads on advanced application capabilities, reporting tools (OTBI, Smart View), and self-service troubleshooting techniques to reduce reliance on IT support. Develop and maintain a comprehensive regression test repository detailing full end-to-end business scenarios (E2E) by functional area.
  • Manage the change control process for all system configuration updates and patch deployments. Coordinate user training and documentation updates (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Coordinate the annual Oracle Cloud Subscription Renewal process. Perform ongoing analysis of system usage versus contracted licenses to ensure licensing compliance for key modules (e.g., Financials, Procurement, EPM). Work with Procurement and Technical teams to optimize license allocation.
  • Own the technical administration and content lifecycle for Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) or equivalent Digital Adoption Platform (DAP). Update and version control all in-app guides, flows, and beacons to reflect post-patch and post-project process changes.
