About The Position

The Financial Systems Administrator plays a key role in updating, maintaining, and optimizing the core operating systems used across our stores and home office departments. This position ensures all financial system configurations are accurate, timely, and aligned with accounting policies—supporting the integrity of financial data and transaction recording.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field—or equivalent relevant experience.
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update accounting system configurations within our DMS and other financial systems. This includes modifications to the chart of accounts, schedule structures, operational income statements (MIS/SPS), manufacturer financial statements, company structure, and user administration.
  • Manage and resolve requests submitted through the ServiceNow queue within established SLA timelines.
  • Support standardization projects across all financial systems.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of department instruction manuals and process guides.
  • Perform daily integration/import validation checks as needed.
  • Conduct annual maintenance and audits of financial systems.
  • Ensure strong internal controls are followed throughout system processes.
  • Maintain effective communication with Corporate Accounting, Consolidation, Tax, Dealership Accounting, and Home Office leadership.
  • Build and sustain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors (e.g., CDK, Transcepta).
  • Support parts and body shop operations setups and reporting as needed (e.g., labor types, sales types, payment types, service hours) to ensure operational and financial accuracy.
  • Assist with sales operations setups, including updates to deal posting templates and unit counts, to support accurate financial and operational outcomes.
