About The Position

O Bee Credit Union is seeking a full-time Financial Services Representative to join their team. This role is crucial for supporting the credit union's mission, members, and company culture. The representative will deliver high-quality financial services, including loan services, business development, and account transactions. They will also contribute to strengthening the credit union's positive image and supporting branch growth by providing world-class member service.

Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least six months of customer service experience.
  • Must be able to pass a background and credit check.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make thoughtful product recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and related software.
  • Willing to obtain a notary license within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience as an MSR I/MSR II is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Symitar and LoansPQ is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary lender for the branch, handling most loan inquiries including credit cards, personal loans, auto loans, and HELOC applications.
  • Process consumer loans of varying complexity, value, and risk.
  • Interview loan applicants, gather background information, and obtain credit bureau reports.
  • Open consumer and business accounts and cross-sell applicable products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with credit union policies as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all share account products and assist members in selecting options that best meet their needs.
  • Educate members by building relationships and recommending additional products and services.
  • Stay current on credit union products, services, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Support branch and organizational lending goals.
  • Respond to member inquiries regarding accounts, transactions, and concerns.
  • Resolve issues directly or refer members to appropriate staff when needed.
  • Fulfill MSR II duties as required, including teller transactions, vault and TCR balancing, and account research.
