The Financial Services Representative provides quality service to internal and external members both in-person and over the telephone. This role encompasses all duties assigned to the teller and member services areas, performed according to established policies and procedures. Key aspects include aggressively promoting credit union products and services, completing outbound calls, making referrals, and maintaining an organized workstation. The representative is responsible for daily balancing, troubleshooting department equipment, preparing reports, and handling a wide range of member service duties such as opening/closing accounts, processing loans, managing credit/debit cards, and handling wire transfers. The position also involves maintaining knowledge of lending policies and regulations, promoting CUNA Mutual Lender Development Program, assisting with various claims, and performing membership officer and/or notary duties. Workplace expectations include ensuring prompt and courteous service, working safely, maintaining thorough knowledge of credit union policies and procedures, performing as part of a team, and adhering to security protocols for office opening and closing.
