About The Position

Our client is seeking a Financial Services Program Manager to support high‑visibility, grant-funded programs and advisory boards made up of elected officials. This role focuses on hands‑on program execution, compliance, and board coordination, not just oversight. The ideal candidate is an experienced public‑sector professional who can bring structure, clarity, and accountability to complex, multi-stakeholder programs while maintaining a neutral and professional presence in a political environment. You will be overseeing a variety of programs. Essential Duties: Plans, administers, and oversees assigned grants and other assigned programs to ensure compliance with funding requirements, policies, and performance standards. Establishes program goals, timelines, and deliverables; monitors progress and adjusts operations as needed to meet program objectives. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, grant requirements, and county policies; prepares, reviews, and submits required reports, performance data, and documentation. Coordinates program monitoring activities, audits, and corrective action plans. Develops, manages, and monitors program budgets, expenditures, and financial reports; reviews invoices,contracts, and funding allocations to ensure allowable and cost-effective use of funds. Oversees contracts and relationships with service providers, vendors, and community partners, includingprocurement activities, contract compliance, and performance monitoring. Analyzes program performance data and community needs to recommend program improvements, expansions, ormodifications; participates in strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts. Serves as a liaison with internal departments, community stakeholders, advisory boards, and funding agencies; represents assigned programs in meetings, trainings, and public forums.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of program and project management, including grant administration, budgeting, fiscal oversight, contract administration, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, evaluate performance metrics, and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Sound judgment to identify risks or compliance issues and recommend practical corrective actions.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities under deadlines.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with county staff, elected officials, external partners, and the public, while delivering excellent customer service.
