About The Position

Maine Savings is looking for a full time, Financial Service Analyst to join us at our Hampden location! What You'll Do: To process and maintain membership files (closed accounts, signature card agreements and business files) at least twice per month with 100% accuracy and efficiency. To provide informed, professional assistance to others in the Credit union ensuring accurate service and support to all members and colleagues. To process the mail daily and to process obituaries at least once per week. To process address changes, name changes, and returned mail on a daily basis with 100% accuracy. Maintains membership and legal files. To troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner. Maintains closed membership accounts. To provide friendly, professional, personal service by passionately demonstrating the MS Service Standards of Courtesy, Appearance, Responsiveness, Empowerment, Empathy and Reliability to members and coworkers. To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness. To process, file, maintain and organize legal documentation and now SCAN!

Requirements

  • Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience preferred.
  • Education: A high school education or GED.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
  • Other Skills: Must be able to operate general office equipment including calculator, copy machine, fax machine, postage meterl, telephone; required lifting and motions tasks.
