The Financial Planning & Analytics Systems Lead (Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Systems Lead) will serve as the architect and product owner of our financial planning ecosystem. Sitting strategically within the Strategic Transformation team, you will bridge the gap between technical systems and financial strategy. In this role, you will own our EPM landscape (Workday Adaptive Planning) and assist in enabling broader BI capabilities and dashboards. Your work will unlock strategic insights that benefit not just the FP&A team, but the greater finance organization, enabling data-driven decision-making across the business. This is a unique opportunity to design the ecosystem for 2026+ complexity. You will act as a Principal Individual Contributor responsible for the "single source of truth," allowing you to lead the technical architecture for our Global EPM transformation without getting bogged down in manual reconciliations or ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of total experience in Finance, FP&A, or Finance Systems.
  • 3+ years of expert-level, hands-on configuration experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (OfficeConnect, Discovery, Modeling).
  • Proven experience in architecting multi-entity, multi-currency planning environments.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting (Three Statements model).
  • Workday Adaptive Planning Certification.
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent strong accounting background.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary architect for the company’s financial planning and analytics ecosystem, specifically owning Workday Adaptive Planning and CCH Tagetik.
  • Architect the data integration strategy to solve connectivity challenges between disparate systems. You will support the logic design that connects operational data (from CRM, HRIS, Data Warehouses) with financial data, transforming isolated datasets into a unified model for robust, driver-based analytics.
  • Design for analytical depth, not just reporting. Structure data models to support complex, multidimensional analysis (e.g., cohort analysis, unit economics) rather than just flat financial statements.
  • Design and maintain complex models, assumptions, and hierarchies to ensure scalability across multiple legal entities and currencies.
  • Serve as the guardian of the "single source of truth," managing model configuration and structural integrity to prevent data fragmentation.
  • Architect BI dashboards and reporting layer that provide FP&A and the wider business with self-service access to real-time financial and operational data, eliminating the bottleneck of manual data fetching and enabling teams to ac insights to drive high-value strategic analysis.
  • Drive the visualization strategy for financial reporting, transitioning the organization from static reporting to interactive BI dashboards that allow leadership access to continuous information.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, data flow maps, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage role-based security protocols to ensure sensitive financial and personnel data is protected and accessible only to authorized users.
  • Partner deeply with FP&A to translate complex business questions into scalable system requirements.
  • Optimize core planning processes (Annual Operating Plan, Rolling Forecasts, QBRs) by ensuring the system facilitates rapid, automated scenarios.
  • Enable faster cycle times for analysts by automating processes and reducing manual lift, without stepping into the role of the analyst yourself.
  • Lead user adoption initiatives by creating and delivering training programs that upskill the Finance team on system capabilities and best practices.
  • Maintain and optimize the library of standard OfficeConnect reports to ensure leadership has consistent, formatted views for Board and Executive presentations.
  • Define and govern standardized metric definitions (e.g., Net Revenue, Gross Margin) to ensure identical calculations across NetSuite (ERP), Adaptive, and BI tools.
  • Act as the translator between Finance and Data Engineering. You will not build the pipelines (Boomi), but you will define the requirements for what data moves and how it maps (e.g., defining how new GL accounts or Sales Territories must flow from NetSuite to Adaptive
  • Proactively manage data consistency; ensure that changes in business structure (e.g., re-orgs, M&A, new product lines) are propagated correctly across all systems to eliminate manual reconciliation
  • Perform routine data integrity audits between the ERP and Planning systems to identify and resolve discrepancies before month-end close.
  • Manage Master Data governance, ensuring that new accounts, departments are correctly set up and mapped across the entire systems landscape.
  • Lead innovation by proactively identifying new ways to leverage technology (e.g., predictive forecasting, AI capabilities) to drive stronger business insights.
  • Provide leadership and technical architecture for the 2026 Global EPM transformation, ensuring seamless alignment with the Global ERP rollout.Drive special projects including the design of New Revenue Forecasting Models and performing gap analyses to determine which legacy solutions to retire and replace.
  • Evaluate future business needs and guide architecture decisions.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for new requests, enforcing strict governance to ensure alignment with long-term scalability rather than short-term fixes.
