About The Position

Lasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking two FP&A Interns for our West Chester, PA headquarters. The summer internship will run from mid- May to mid- August. The FP&A interns will work closely with our FP&A team to support strategic decision-making processes, develop financial models, analyze financial data, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow while making a meaningful impact.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
This role is intended for students entering their senior year of undergraduate study
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with PowerBI
Prior internship experience in finance or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supports monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes including analysis, interpretation, and communication of results
Helps develop effective reports, presentations, and analyses for use by management and external stakeholders
Helps develop, analyze, and reconcile statistical and accounting information for monthly and quarterly financial statement reviews
Assesses operating results in terms of profitability and performance against plan/prior year to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities
Participates in annual strategic planning and budgeting, periodic forecasting, and management reporting processes
Helps create appropriate metrics/KPIs, reporting tools, and dashboards that give insight into the performance of the business
Works cross-functionally to incorporate financial and strategic analysis into key business decisions
Analyzes financial data to explain variance drivers, including revenue and gross margin volume/rate/mix analysis
