Summer 2026 Internship Snapshot  The Internship Program is a full-time (40 hours) opportunity that runs May 20 through August 14 In addition to your projects and tasks, New Era Interns will experience: Networking Opportunities  Professional Development (i.e., workshops and learning sessions for résumé building and personal branding, job searching, public speaking, etc.) Community Service Day Team Building Day End-of-Internship Showcase to recognize your contributions and achievements The Opportunity at Hand The role of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern is an integral member of the FP&A department adding value through assisting with forecasting for the global company’s “6+6” re-forecast. This is the opportunity to review the Original 2026 Plan and update based on current market and economic conditions. Our role includes providing guidance and challenging assumptions in order to deliver the strongest revenue and profitability forecast for the company as possible. which involves every region within both the US and internationally and analyzing reporting of Plan to Actuals, especially within the global Organizational expenses. As one of the largest total spends we have as a company, the goal is to align within each region on categorizing expenses and looking for opportunities to leverage similar costs globally to improve revenue/profitability.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new systems.
  • Comfortable collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate professionally via phone, email, and in-person
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to respond quickly to changing circumstances
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to enhance existing processes and solutions
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive, with a track record of managing change with persistence and urgency
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program within Finance or Accounting or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Prior experience with forecasting/finance software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Learn about how FP&A interacts inside and outside of finance
  • Participate in the global 6+6 forecasting process
  • Assist with communicating and gathering information from every region on forecast data and drivers
  • Collaborate with all internal finance departments in all global offices, as well as other departments that provide input to the forecast
  • Support efforts to align all regions Org expense categories and make recommendations on process to align efforts on similar projects or categories of expense
  • Coordinate a central database for information learned in the global Org expense project
  • Develop a method to keep this updated and aligned going forward
  • Update leadership on findings from Org research
  • Keep all sensitive matters confidential
  • Other projects as assigned
