Position Summary Co-op, short for cooperative education, is a program that provides students the opportunity to alternate academic study with full-time employment, gaining practical experience in their field of study prior to graduation. Cooperative education enables undergraduate students to balance classroom theory with practical, hands-on experience prior to graduation. Students alternate classes with full-time employment through University-approved employers. Generally, students are on co-op for a six-month period, alternating with six months of classroom study.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or; Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a strong business partner relationship and good communication with Operations Management
  • Monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages and analysis of business results versus plan, projection and prior year
  • Develop monthly Forecast, annual Budget, and long-term projections
  • Build financial models to provide insightful analysis for enhanced decision-making capabilities
  • Provide on-going research and analyses necessary to support data-driven financial decisions
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities that create automation, greater efficiency and consistency of internal processes
  • Perform duties inherent in all supervisory, professional and administrative positions
