About The Position

The Financial Planner works directly with clients and businesses to help them navigate their financial goals. This role involves developing and recommending strategies for clients to achieve their financial objectives, covering areas like cash management, insurance coverage, and investment planning. The planner will manage, monitor, and evaluate financial plans, and conduct regular analyses of the evolving financial landscape, including strategies and legal backgrounds. Collaboration with Advisors and Investment personnel is key to developing client-centric strategies. Responsibilities also include gathering, organizing, and maintaining client financial profile data, reviewing planning deliverables, and managing follow-up actions. The role also involves meeting with participants to address plan-related questions and is responsible for developing new business relationships and managing an existing client portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
  • Four to eight years of experience in financial services.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Analytical, verbal, mathematical and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of investments, securities market structure and portfolio management.

  • Master's degree in business, finance or related area.
  • CFP designation or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and recommend strategies that clients can use to achieve their financial goals and objectives, including specific recommendations in areas such as cash management, insurance coverage, and investment planning.
  • Manage, monitor and evaluate financial plans.
  • Conducts regular analyses of changing conditions in the financial landscape including strategies and legal background.
  • Collaborate with Advisors and Investment personnel to develop strategies in the best interests of the client.
  • Gather, organize and maintain client personal and financial wealth plan profile data.
  • Review planning deliverables with the client and maintain a comprehensive list of financial planning action items for follow up and resolution.
  • Meet with participants to answer any personal questions about the plan or possible other financial matters.
  • Development of new business relationships and management of an existing book of business.
