About The Position

Work directly with clients and businesses to navigate their financial goals. This role involves developing and recommending strategies that clients can use to achieve their financial goals and objectives, including specific recommendations in areas such as cash management, insurance coverage, and investment planning. The Financial Planner will manage, monitor, and evaluate financial plans, and conduct regular analyses of changing conditions in the financial landscape, including strategies and legal background. Collaboration with Advisors and Investment personnel is essential to developing strategies in the best interests of the client. Responsibilities also include gathering, organizing, and maintaining client personal and financial wealth plan profile data, reviewing planning deliverables with the client, and maintaining a comprehensive list of financial planning action items for follow-up and resolution. The planner will also meet with participants to answer any personal questions about the plan or possible other financial matters, and will be involved in the development of new business relationships and management of an existing book of business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
  • Four to eight years of experience in financial services.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, as well as analytical, verbal, mathematical and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of investments, securities market structure and portfolio management.

  • Master's degree in business, finance or related area preferred.
  • CFP designation or similar preferred.
