About The Position

Inmar’s Summer Internship Program offers a dynamic and enriching experience designed to give students real-world exposure to a professional environment while contributing meaningfully to company initiatives. Interns will split their time between a high-impact cross-functional team project and department-specific responsibilities assigned by their direct manager. The Accounts Receivable (AR) Operations team manages credit, collections, and client risk strategies to optimize cash flow and strengthen client relationships. We are seeking an intern to work on strategic initiatives in credit management, client risk analysis, and AR policy implementation. This role offers a blend of hands-on operational experience and cross-functional project work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The intern will receive direct mentorship, contribute to high-impact process improvements, and have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role post-graduation based on performance and fit. This is an onsite internship based in our Winston-Salem, NC location and will require in-person attendance.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related area; rising junior or senior (graduating between Dec 2026-May 2028).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, work collaboratively, and drive process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and basic financial analysis.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support team initiatives in areas such as credit management, client risk analysis, process improvement, and AR policy implementation to enhance collections performance.
  • Assist in credit evaluations, client risk assessments, and the development of standardized AR policies to improve collections efficiency and strengthen client relationships.
  • Contribute to high-impact initiatives in credit management, client risk analysis, process improvement, and AR policy implementation by analyzing client payment behavior, validating AR data, and supporting cross-functional efforts to optimize collections performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate business-specific needs into support center workflows, aligning initiatives in credit management, client risk analysis, process improvement, and AR policy implementation to optimize operations and strengthen client accountability.
