BSN SPORTS is seeking an Analyst to join our growing team, supporting Finance and Operations. The Analyst will be focused on data-driven analysis and decision support related to Margin, Inventory, Supply Chain and Production performance, and will be an integral part of the Finance team. The ideal candidate excels at navigating ambiguity, uncovering root causes in imperfect data, and translating findings into clear insights for leadership.

Requirements

Knowledge: Translate complex analysis into clear, digestible insights
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to succinctly articulate communications using analytical reasoning, logic, and consistency
Collaboration: Work cross functionally throughout the organization and build strong, trusting partnerships to meet shared objectives
Organization: Prioritize and manage multiple deliverables with competing priorities on tight deadlines; must have meticulous, focused attention to detail
Accountability: Hold oneself and others accountable to meet commitments; promote a sense of urgency and establish and enforce individual accountability
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting (or equivalent work experience in Pricing or Cost Accounting)
One to three years of relevant experience in wholesale and/or manufacturing environment; understanding of Statistics and Cost Accounting preferred
Advanced Microsoft Office product experience (e.g., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, Power BI, and MS Outlook)

Nice To Haves

SAP, Snowflake and Tableau experience a plus

Responsibilities

Build data-driven models to assess inventory flow, labor efficiency, margin impact, and capacity scenarios to support operational and financial decision-making.
Evaluate & Analyze margin drivers by SKU, channel, and fulfillment model, connecting pricing, cost, and operational decisions to overall profitability and identifying improvement opportunities
Analyze Inventory data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities related to turnover, excess & obsolete and capacity constraints
Analyze decoration performance and cost structures to identify efficiency opportunities and support decisions related to pricing, labor, and capacity
Provide analytical support for warehouse operations, including labor metrics, throughput, and space utilization, to inform capacity planning and capital investment decisions.
Maintain and update standard costs in SAP, including review of freight, tariffs, and material master data, to ensure cost accuracy and support pricing and margin analysis; partner with Merchandising to review catalog pricing alignment
Support operational and inventory budgeting and forecasting through analysis of headcount, labor, and Net Working Capital drivers
Proactively surface risks and opportunities before they are formally escalated
Ad hoc analysis and reporting in support of evolving business and operational priorities
