About The Position

The Director of Oncology Services will be responsible for the administration, evaluation and coordination of strategic and operational functions of Jefferson Regional Oncology service line, which consists of all oncology services within the organization. Oversees and acts as a key leader in the clinical and operational development, and implementation of the Jefferson Regional Oncology service line. This includes, but not limited to, capital strategy, accreditation, clinical workflow and practice standardization.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business, Finance, Counseling, Social Work, healthcare administration or other related fields.
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Counseling, Social Work, healthcare administration or other related fields.
  • Five years’ healthcare with billing experience required with at least 2 years working with the financial needs of Patients.
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, all other Governmental Third Party Payers, COBRA regulations, PAP and co-pay assistance programs. Familiar with Healthcare reform. ICD10 AND CPT coding experience required.
  • Knowledge of clinical services required.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical record.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent relationship skills, good teamwork, and working autonomously

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with payer coverage and NCCN/Pharma/FDA guidelines preferred.
  • Oncology Experience Preferred.
  • Bilingual skills preferred
